Waconia Vet Clinic Staff

Veterinary technicians and administrative staff are an integral part of the care team. At Waconia Veterinary Clinic we are proud of these individuals, who are devoted to their patients, providing compassionate and meticulous care. We constantly strive to promote a friendly and professional environment where emphasis is placed on quality medical care for our patients and a healthy workplace for our employees. 


  • Kathy

    Our practice manager, Kathy has been part of the Waconia Veterinary team since 1980. She enjoys working with a dedicated staff that truly cares about the well-being of all animals. She is married with two adult children and two cats. In her free time she enjoys working on all the projects that come with a sixth generation family farm, time at the lake, or a relaxing campfire with friends

  • Tracy

    Tracy, our clinic manager and certified veterinary technician, has been with the Waconia Veterinary Clinic since 2004. She graduated from the Medical Institute of Minnesota (currently known as Argosy University) in 1999. She is married, has two children and a dog named John Coffey (Pit Bull). In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, traveling, camping, and ATV/dune buggy riding.

  • Jolene

    Jolene is a certified veterinary technician. In her free time, she enjoys hiking with her dogs, reading, watching movies, gardening, biking, hunting and fishing. She has also done obedience, hunt tests, agility, and therapy work with her dogs. She has two Golden Retrievers named Reagan and Lindy and a cat named Conway Kitty

  • Jamie

    Jamie is a certified veterinary technician who joined our team in 2018. She graduated from North Dakota State University with a degree in Veterinary Technology. In her free time, she enjoys drawing, making crafts, playing guitar and being outdoors. She has three dogs (Sadie, Henri, and Skyler).

  • Shawna

    Shawna has been employed at Waconia Veterinary Clinic as a groomer since 2008. She brings nearly thirty years of grooming experience to the clinic. She enjoys working with pets and making them feel great. Personal interests include landscaping and gardening, hunting, fishing, and traveling. She is married and has an extensive family of dogs and cats.

  • Elizabeth

    Elizabeth, a certified large animal veterinary technician, has been employed by Waconia Veterinary Clinic since 2001. In her free time, she enjoys horseback riding, camping, four wheeling,gardening and running. She is married and has three children, two dogs, four cats, one horse and a flock of chickens.

  • Erin

    Erin, a certified veterinary technician, graduated from Ridgewater College. She has been employed at the Waconia Veterinary Clinic since 2006. She is married and has two children.  She has a German Shepherd/Husky mix named Lambeau and a cat named Axel. She enjoys traveling and spending time with her family.

  • Courtney

    Courtney is a certified veterinary technician who graduated from Bel-Rea Institute in 2004 and joined the Waconia Veterinary Clinic team in 2012. She enjoys traveling, reading and being outdoors. She has two cats named Boy and Girl.

  • Sara

    Sara is a client services representative at Waconia Veterinary Clinic. She has been employed since 2007. Personal interests include taking her three dogs (Lilly, Dutchess, and Titus) to the dog park, spending time with her two nephews and niece, and singing with her band, “Ragtown”.

  • Brittany

    Brittany, a veterinary technician, graduated from Minnesota School of Business. She has been employed with Waconia Veterinary Clinic since 2007. Personal interests include golfing, tennis, and bowling. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She has one daughter.

  • Denise

    Denise has been a client services representative at Waconia Veterinary Clinic since 2010. She is married and has two adult daughters. In her free time, she enjoys gardening, collecting antiques, and creating “junk” art. She has two cats named Jake and Ivy.

  • Lynn

    Lynn is a veterinary technician who joined us in 2013. She graduated from Ridgewater College with a degree in Veterinary Technology. In her free time, she enjoys camping, gardening, scrapbooking, fishing, traveling, and helping on the family farm. She has a dog named Chevy.

  • Ashley

    Ashley has been a client services representative at Waconia Veterinary Clinic since 2014. In her free time, she loves to cook and bake. She also enjoys spending time with her family and friends, motorcycle riding and other outdoor activities. She has one dog.

  • Sacha

    Sacha, is a kennel attendant and veterinary assistant at Waconia Veterinary Clinic. She has been employed since 2015. Personal interests include spending time with family, horseback riding, gardening and crafting. She has a variety of pets including a dog, cats, two horses, chickens and a turkey.

  • Lisa

    Lisa joined Waconia Veterinary Clinic as a client services representative in 2015. In her free time, she enjoys horseback riding, motorcycle riding, hunting, and spending time with family. She has a yellow lab named KC, a Quarter Horse named JR, and many barn cats.

  • Alyssa

    Alyssa, is a kennel attendant and veterinary assistant who joined our team in 2015.In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and fur friends, reading, cooking, and running. She has a dog named Penny and four cats (Cali, Phoenix, Charlotte and Luna).

  • Melissa

    Melissa, is a certified veterinary technician at Waconia Veterinary Clinic. She graduated from Ridgewater College in 2000. She has been employed since 2015. Personal interests include camping, gardening, and spending time with family. She has a variety of pets including three dogs (Moxie, Wally and Dixi) and four cats (Toones, Tinker, Trouble and Si).

  • Michelle

    Michelle is a veterinary technician who graduated from Ridgewater College. She joined the Waconia Veterinary Clinic team in 2016. She enjoys spending time with family and ATV riding. She has a variety of pets including two dogs, two cats, two horses, cows and barn cats.

  • Emilee

    Emilee is a certified veterinary technician who joined Waconia Veterinary Clinic in 2017. She graduated from the University of MN in 2015 with a degree in Animal Science and Argosy University in 2017 with a degree in Veterinary Technology. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, running, yoga, and being outdoors. Her pets include Sunny (Pit Bull), Bruno (Beta Fish) and dogs she fosters until they find their forever home.

  • Natty Boh

    “Natty Boh” is the current clinic cat at Waconia Veterinary Clinic. A Siamese mix, she enjoys hanging out with the staff and watching them work, although she herself is, well, quite lazy. She “talks” to us however. Being a pet herself, she doesn’t have any, but does have a favorite toy. She was acquired as a rescue cat and made herself immediately at home.

  • Paytyn

    Paytyn is a veterinary assistant at Waconia Veterinary Clinic. She has been employed since 2017. She enjoys playing sports, taking care of animals, and outdoor activities including hunting and fishing. She has a dog named Paisley.

  • Aidanne

    Aidanne is a kennel attendant at Waconia Veterinary Clinic. She has been employed since 2017. Her hobbies include astronomy, traveling and playing soccer. She has an energetic dog named Dixie.

  • Brent

    Brent is a veterinary assistant. He has been employed at Waconia Veterinary Clinic since 2018. In his free time, he enjoys sports (especially golf), reading, astronomy, and learning through new experiences.

  • Paxton

    Paxton is a kennel attendant who joined our team in 2018. In his free time, he enjoys sports   (hockey, soccer and Formula One racing), watching TV, playing video games, and hanging   out with friends. He has a Russian Wolfhound named Poshkin.

  • Charlie

    Charlie is a kennel attendant who joined our team in 2018. In his free time, he enjoys   playing soccer. He has a dog named Ripley and a hamster named Leo.
