Veterinarians, technicians and administrative staff are all an integral part of the veterinary care team. Our support staff is devoted to our patients, providing individualized and meticulous care to ensure all pets enjoy long, healthy lives with their human companions.
Our Practice Manager, Kathy has been part of the Waconia Veterinary team since 1980. She enjoys working with a dedicated staff that truly cares about the well-being of all animals. Kit, her cat, is part of the family along with a grand-dog named Winnie. In her free time she enjoys working on the projects that come with living on a sixth generation family farm, time at the lake, or a relaxing campfire with friends.
Tracy, our clinic manager and certified veterinary technician has been with the Waconia Veterinary Clinic since 2004. She graduated from the Medical Institute of Minnesota/Argosy in 1999. She is married, has two children and an awesome pit bull named John Coffey who accompanies Tracy to visit retirement homes in the area. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, traveling, camping, and ATV/dune buggy riding.
Jolene is a certified veterinary technician. In her free time, she enjoys hiking with her dogs, reading, watching movies, gardening, biking, hunting and fishing. She has also done obedience, hunt tests, agility, and therapy work with her dogs. She has two Golden Retrievers named Reagan and Lindy and a cat named Conway Kitty
Our groomer, Shawna, has been employed at Waconia Veterinary Clinic since 2008. She brings over thirty years of grooming experience to the clinic. She enjoys working with pets and making them feel great. Personal interests include landscaping and gardening, hunting, fishing, and traveling. Her family includes an extensive number of dogs and cats.
Erin, a certified veterinary technician, graduated from Ridgewater College. She has been employed at the Waconia Veterinary Clinic since 2006. She has a passion for performing dentistry services for our clients. She is married and has two children. She has a German Shepherd/Husky mix named Lambeau, two cats named Axel and Skye, and one hamster.
Elizabeth is a certified small and large animal veterinary technician who graduated from Argosy University in 2006. She has been employed by Waconia Veterinary Clinic since 2001. In her free time she enjoys time with friends and family, which includes a few dogs, cats and a horse of her own.
Courtney is a certified veterinary technician who graduated from Bel-Rea Institute in 2004 and joined the Waconia Veterinary Clinic team in 2012. She enjoys traveling, reading and being outdoors. She has two cats named Boy and Girl, and two dogs named Max and Boomie.
Sara is a client services representative at. She has been employed since 2007. Personal interests include taking her two dogs, Dutchess and Titus, to the dog park, spending time with niece and nephews, golfing and singing with her band, “Ragtown”.
Brittany, a veterinary technician, graduated from Minnesota School of Business. She has been employed with Waconia Veterinary Clinic since 2007. Personal interests include golfing and tennis. She is kept busy with her daughter’s activities and enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
Denise has been a client services representative at Waconia Veterinary Clinic since 2010. She is married and has two adult daughters. In her free time, she enjoys gardening, collecting antiques, and creating “junk” art. She has two cats named Jake and Ivy.
Lynn is a veterinary technician who joined us in 2013. She graduated from Ridgewater College with a degree in Veterinary Technology. In her free time, she enjoys camping, gardening, baking, fishing, and helping on the family farms. Her family includes two dogs, Chevy and Ella.
Ashley has been a client services representative at Waconia Veterinary Clinic since 2014. She has two dogs, a German Shepherd named Opie and a Great Dane named June. Ashley enjoys spending time with her family and friends, camping in Crosslake, and trail riding on the side-by-side.
Sacha is the facility maintenance assistant at Waconia Veterinary Clinic. She has been employed since 2015. Personal interests include horseback riding, gardening and crafting. Her family has a variety of pets including a dog, cats, two horses, chickens ducks and sheep.
Lisa joined Waconia Veterinary Clinic as a client services representative in 2015. In her free time, she enjoys horseback riding, motorcycle riding, hunting, and spending time with family. She has a yellow lab named KC, two quarter horses, JR and Shaq, and many barn cats.
Alyssa, is a veterinary assistant who joined our team in 2015. She splits her time between working and going to school to become a veterinarian. She enjoys spending time with her family and fur friends, reading, cooking, and embroidery. She has two dogs, Penny and Jax, and four cats named Cali, Phoenix, Charlotte and Luna.
Melissa is a certified veterinary technician who joined Waconia Veterinary Clinic in 2015. She graduated from Ridgewater College in 2000. A few of her favorite things include: Christmas time, smooshy faced bulldogs, camping with family and tending to her flower garden. Her dogs are Moxie, Dixie, Wally, Gus and Ernie. Her cats are Gilbert, Max, Bella, Tinker, Howard, Raj and Leonard. The guinea pigs are Froglegs, Flower and Nibbles. Needless to say, never a dull moment at Melissa’s!
Michelle is a veterinary technician who graduated from Ridgewater College. She joined the Waconia Veterinary Clinic team in 2016. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, horseback riding, and doing anything outdoors. She has a variety of pets including three dogs, two cats, two horses, cows and barn cats.
Emilee is a certified veterinary technician who joined Waconia Veterinary Clinic in 2017. She graduated from the University of MN in 2015 with a degree in Animal Science and Argosy University in 2017 with a degree in Veterinary Technology. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, running, yoga, and being outdoors. Her pets include Sunny (Pit Bull), Bruno (Beta Fish) and dogs she fosters until they find their forever home.
“Natty Boh” is the current clinic cat at Waconia Veterinary Clinic. A Siamese mix, she enjoys hanging out with the staff and watching them work, although she herself is, well, quite lazy. She “talks” to us however. Being a pet herself, she doesn’t have any, but does have a favorite toy. She was acquired as a rescue cat and made herself immediately at home.
Brent is a veterinary assistant. He has been employed at Waconia Veterinary Clinic since 2018. In his free time, he enjoys sports (especially golf), reading, astronomy, and learning through new experiences.
Anna is a veterinary assistant who joined our team in 2019. Her interests include cross-fit and piano. Her family of pets includes two dogs named Harvey and Walter, and two cats named Misha and Omar.
Angie joined our customer service representative team in 2019. She loves spending time with her husband and two sons playing games, going for walks, camping and enjoying the outdoors. Her family includes two dogs named Buddy and Tugger. She loves to cook and bake, making cakes and cupcakes for family and friends.
Payton is a veterinary assistant and has been working at Waconia Veterinary Clinic since 2017. He is currently studying Animal Science at Iowa State University in preparation for a future in veterinary medicine. Payton has a dog named Lacey. He spends time showing goats that he raises, enjoys hunting, fishing and hanging out with family and friends.
Erin, is a veterinary assistant who joined our team in 2019. She has earned a BS in Veterinary Science from the UofM where she is currently a student in the veterinary program. She enjoys spending time with her family, friends and fiance, horseback riding, reading and hiking. Erin has a horse named Diego, a miniature donkey named Nacho and Cricket the cat.
Margaret is a veterinary assistant. She has been employed at Waconia Veterinary Clinic since 2019. She balances her time between high school and work. Margaret plays saxophone, clarinet and guitar in band. She enjoys reading in her spare time and spending time with friends and family, which includes several dogs and cats.
