Veterinarians

Dr. Brad Dohm

Veterinarian

Dr. Brad Dohm graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison Veterinary School in 1992 and has been with the Waconia Veterinary Clinic since 1993. He has been a partner in the practice since 1997. His area of veterinary interest includes dentistry and ophthalmology.

Dr. Dohm enjoys skiing, fishing, and motorcycling. He lives in Waconia with his wife and adult children.

Dr. Carla Kilty

Veterinarian

Dr. Carla Kilty joined the Waconia Veterinary Clinic in 2016. She is a 2006 graduate of the University of Minnesota, School of Veterinary Medicine. Her special interests include soft tissue surgery, geriatric medicine, pain management, and megaesophagus.

Outside of work Dr. Kilty enjoys spending time with family. In her free time she enjoys hiking, camping and running. She currently lives in Minnetrista and shares her home with her Labrador Comet, Astro and cats Otis, Sterling, Titan and TC. She also has a rabbit named Jellybean.

Dr. Jeanne Sutich

Veterinarian

Dr. Jeanne Sutich graduated from the University of Minnesota college of Veterinary Medicine in 1994 and has been working at the Waconia Veterinary Clinic since 1997. Her professional interests are canine sports medicine/athletic injuries, rehabilitation after orthopedic surgeries and general conditioning.

In her free time, Dr. Sutich enjoys performance sports with her German Shepherd dogs in the areas of agility, obedience, tracking and rally events. She also enjoys traveling.

Dr. Kari Keehr

Veterinarian

Dr. Kari Keehr, graduated from Iowa State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine in 2004. She has been working at the Waconia Veterinary Clinic since 2005 and her professional interests are in all aspects of bovine and small ruminant medicine, especially goats.

Dr. Keehr lives in Waconia with her husband, their daughter, son, and two cats. She enjoys spending time with family, gardening, running, mountain biking and reading in her spare time.

Dr. Kelly Skluzacek

Veterinarian

Dr. Kelly Skluzacek graduated from the University of Minnesota college of Veterinary Medicine and began working at Waconia Veterinary Clinic in 2021. Her professional interests include geriatric medicine, feline respiratory disease, autoimmune skin disease, and rabbit medicine.

In her free time, Dr. Skluzacek enjoys road cycling, visiting National and State parks, and home remodeling. She has two cats (Taykota and Millie) and a Holland Lop rabbit named Benji.

Dr. Mandy Harms

Veterinarian

Dr. Mandy Harms graduated from the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine in 2002. She grew up outside of Norwood and has been employed at the Waconia Veterinary Clinic since 2012. Her professional interests are companion animal internal medicine, with a special interest in dermatology.

Dr. Harms lives in Cologne with her husband and three children. They have two cats (Emily and Luna), and a Beagle name Clutch.

Dr. Shayne Marker

Veterinarian

Dr. Shayne Marker graduated from Iowa State University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1997. He has been a partner at Waconia Veterinary Clinic since 2002. His focus is large animal production medicine. He is also available for companion animal appointments in the clinic.

Dr. Marker and his family live in Waconia. Ivy, is his German Wirehair hunting companion. He finds time for hunting and fishing and has always enjoyed coaching his children’s sport teams.

Dr. Erin Lamont

Veterinarian

Dr. Erin Lamont is a Minnesota native, originally from Chaska. She has been a part of our team since 2019, when she worked as a veterinary assistant while attending veterinary school. Erin graduated from the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine in and transitioned to her position as an associate veterinarian in June 2022. Her professional interests include companion animal preventive care, dentistry and routine surgery. Outside of work, Erin enjoys spending time with her husband Kevin, hiking, horseback riding, visiting national parks, and reading books. She has a miniature american shepherd named Lindy who is trained in obedience and agility, a quarter horse named Diego, and a miniature donkey named Nacho.

Kathy

Management

Our Practice Manager, Kathy has been part of the Waconia Veterinary team since 1980. She enjoys working with a dedicated staff that truly cares about the well-being of all animals. Kit, her cat, is part of the family along with two grand-dogs (Winnie and Raven). In her free time, she enjoys working on projects that come with living on a sixth-generation family farm, time at the lake, or a relaxing campfire with friends.

Tracy, CVT

Management

Tracy, our clinic manager and certified veterinary technician, has been with Waconia Veterinary Clinic since 2004. She graduated from the Medical Institute of Minnesota in 1999 with an AAS degree in Veterinary Technology. In 2008, she graduated from Minnesota School of Business with a BS degree in Business Administration. She enjoys splitting her time at work between management duties and providing patient care. She is married, has two children and a pit bull named John Coffey. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, traveling, camping, and ATV trail riding.

Veterinary Technician

Courtney is a certified veterinary technician who graduated from Bel-Rea Institute in 2004 and joined the Waconia Veterinary Clinic team in 2012. She enjoys traveling, reading and being outdoors. She has two cats named Boy and Girl, and two dogs named Max and Boomie.

Elizabeth, CVT

Veterinary Technician

Elizabeth is a certified small and large animal veterinary technician who graduated from Argosy University in 2006. She has been employed by Waconia Veterinary Clinic since 2001. In her free time, she enjoys time with friends and family, mountain biking and hiking. She has a dog named Stella and a cat named Cardi.

Emilee, CVT

Veterinary Technician

Emilee is a certified veterinary technician who joined Waconia Veterinary Clinic in 2017. She graduated from the University of MN in 2015 with a degree in Animal Science and Argosy University in 2017 with a degree in Veterinary Technology. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, running, yoga, and being outdoors. Her pets include Sunny (Pit Bull), Bruno (Beta Fish) and dogs she fosters until they find their forever home.

Erin, CVT

Veterinary Technician

Erin, a certified veterinary technician, graduated from Ridgewater College. She has been employed at the Waconia Veterinary Clinic since 2006. She has a passion for performing dentistry services for our patients. She is married and has two children.  She has a German Shepherd/Husky mix named Lambeau, three cats (Axel, Skye and Midnight), and one hamster.

Jill, CVT

Veterinary Technician

Jill, a certified veterinary technician, joined Waconia Veterinary Clinic in 2022. She graduated from the Medical Institute of Minnesota in 1999. She is married, has two children and three dogs (Clifford, Ryder, and Cody). In her free time, she enjoys attending her children’s activities, kayaking, volleyball, and spending time with family/friends at the family farm and cabin.

Melissa, CVT

Veterinary Technician

Melissa is a certified veterinary technician who joined Waconia Veterinary Clinic in 2015. She graduated from Ridgewater College in 2000. A few of her favorite things include: her twin children, Christmas time, smooshy faced bulldogs, camping with family and tending to her flower garden. Her dogs are Moxie, Dixie, Wally, and Ernie. Her cats are Gilbert, Max (a.k.a. Maxine Flufferton), Tippy and Tinker, as well as her working cats: Howard, Raj, Mustachio and Dino. Needless to say, never a dull moment at Melissa’s!

Patty, CVT

Veterinary Technician

Patty is a certified veterinary technician who joined out team in 2020. In her free time, she enjoys spending time outside with her horses and beef cattle, ATV riding, and spending time with family and friends. She has three dogs: Jane Deere, Casey and Rubie; Three cats: Ajax, Swiffer and Black Cat; Two horses: Cowboy and Crown.

Aubrey, VT

Veterinary Technician

Aubrey is a veterinary technician who joined Waconia Veterinary Clinic in 2021. She graduated from Madison Area Technical College in 2021 with a degree in Veterinary Technology. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, crafting and painting. She has a Wirehaired Pointing Griffon named Harvey.

Brittany, VT

Veterinary Technician

Brittany, a veterinary technician, graduated from Minnesota School of Business. She has been employed with Waconia Veterinary Clinic since 2007. She enjoys camping, traveling and playing tennis. She is kept busy with her daughter’s activities and enjoys spending time with her family and friends.

Lynn, VT

Veterinary Technician

Lynn is a veterinary technician who joined Waconia Veterinary Clinic in 2013. She graduated from Ridgewater College with a degree in Veterinary Technology. She is married and has two children. In her free time, she enjoys camping, gardening, baking, fishing, and helping on the family farms. Her family also includes her dog named Ella.

Michelle, VT

Veterinary Technician

Michelle is a veterinary technician who graduated from Ridgewater College. She joined the Waconia Veterinary Clinic team in 2016. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, horseback riding, and doing anything outdoors. She has a variety of pets including two dogs, two cats, two horses, cows and barn cats.

Client Service Representative

Angie joined our customer service representative team in 2019. She loves spending time with her husband and two sons playing games, going for walks, camping and enjoying the outdoors. Her family includes two dogs named Buddy and Tugger. She loves to cook and bake, making cakes and cupcakes for family and friends.

Denise

Client Service Representative

Denise has been a client services representative at Waconia Veterinary Clinic since 2010. She is married and has two adult daughters. In her free time, she enjoys gardening, collecting antiques, and creating “junk” art. She has two cats named Jake and Ivy.

Lisa

Client Service Representative

Lisa joined Waconia Veterinary Clinic as a client services representative in 2015. In her free time, she enjoys horseback riding, motorcycle riding, hunting, and spending time with family. She has a yellow lab named KC, two quarter horses, JR and Shaq, and many barn cats.

Sara

Client Service Representative

Sara is a client services representative at. She has been employed since 2007. Personal interests include taking her two dogs, Dutchess and Titus, to the dog park, spending time with niece and nephews, golfing and singing with her band, “Ragtown”.

Samantha joined Waconia Veterinary Clinic in 2022. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, kayaking, fishing and DIY projects. She has a cat named Chloe.

Ashley

Assistant

Ashley has been with Waconia Veterinary Clinic since 2014. She has two dogs, a German Shepherd named Opie and a Great Dane named June. Ashley enjoys spending time with her family and friends, camping in Crosslake, and trail riding on the side-by-side.

Hailee

Assistant

Hailee is a veterinary assistant who joined our team in 2021. She has two dogs named Skye (a Siberian Husky) and Cooper (a chocolate Lab). She enjoys spending time with family and friends, visiting her cabin up north, watching movies and going out to eat.

Sydney

Assistant

Sydney is a veterinary assistant who joined our team in 2022. In her free time, she enjoys riding and participating in events with her horse, hiking, camping, playing video games and cooking. She has a dog named Merle, three cats (Kai, Bubs and Bizzy), and an off-track thoroughbred named Honey Dipper.

Kenson

Assistant

Kenson  joined our team in 2022 as a veterinary assistant. He has a Bachelor Degree in Animal Science and will be applying to veterinary school to become a veterinarian. His hobbies include hanging out with friends and family, working out, and helping on the family dairy farm. Kenson has many barn cats and cattle.

Sacha

Maintenance Assistant

Sacha is the facility maintenance assistant at Waconia Veterinary Clinic. She has been employed since 2015. Personal interests include horseback riding, gardening and crafting. Her family has a variety of pets on their hobby farm.
